Day 233 - OMG Yummiest Pork Ribs EVER
I have an OBSESSION with pork. most of my favorite dishes have some form of pork in them at the moment. my friend Dean Flint posted how amazing his ribs were on facebook and I begged for him to share his secret. Dean is an amazing "chef" and you can following his tasty food combinations on his blog Food Romance.
How To:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Score through the membrane on the back side of the ribs with a sharp knife to allow seasoning to penetrate the meat.
3. Rub with olive oil and a dry rub, I used McCormick's Montreal Steak Rub. Cook the ribs for 20 minutes bone side down in a roasting pan.
4. Turn the oven down to 250 degrees and cook for 3 hours.
5. In a small pan, boil 1 cup of water. Add 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of hickory liquid smoke. Cook for a few minutes and remove from heat.
6. Pour the brown sugar sauce over the ribs and return to oven for 30 minutes.
7. Remove ribs from oven and let rest approximately 10 minutes.
8. Serve with more yummy food {and don't forget to brag about Food Romance}

Day 232 - multi class reunion
i was so excited about the response i received from friends, old classmates and extended high school classmates for a multi-class reunion. so i began to organize an event for August via facebook and the idea grew from there~
i took photos of most everyone that attended and plan to put together a dvd. others suggested we post all of our photos on a main website so that we could print into a mini-book.
this blog post represents some of my favorite moments that i was able to capture. but sometimes you have to put down the lens and just "enjoy living"~
so those are the moments i will just have to hold close to my heart ~♥~

Day 221 - random order
daydreaming~♥~
who needs structure~ some people do. but i am not that person. i have a creative spirit. i thrive in the eclectic. i spent an entire month in california visiting family and friends and i got behind in my blog. instead of trying to find the order in life and in my photography to catch my blog back up, i've decided that i am going to begin to post the photos i've been taking in random order. HA! this is so much more me anyway~ i hope that my followers will enjoy the photos and the stories that accompany them. i've missed my blogging family and enjoy the comments and suggestion for my photos. i will admit a new addiction to picnik that i discovered is completely entertaining and i love altering/enhancing my photos. so, big squeezing hugs to all my followers and welcome back to my journey of photography discovery & development. i've missed you~
♥~t
